There are 3 different Fuel Sensors are available to monitor the fuel in heavy vehicles like Trucks, Tippers, etc. All these are connected to GPS trackers via serial port (RS232 or RS485) or analog port.

  1. Resistive Fuel Sensor

2. Capacitive Fuel Sensor

3. UltraSonic Fuel Sensor

Resistive sensors are a bit cheap but low accuracy and don’t pass the safety standards due to moving parts in the sensor system. Possibilities of fires are there hence it's not widely used in the market.

Capacitive Fuel sensors are widely used in the market. Generally high accuracy and also safe. Russia, India, Belarus, Vietnam, and China are key manufacturers of capacitive fuel sensors. The main challenge is installation and calibration. Once done it will serve for life. Most manufacturers provide 5 years warranty.

Ultrasonic fuel sensors are another type of sensor which uses SONAR technology. The nice thing about this type of sensor is “installation”. Installation is simple. Downsides are cost and accuracy.

VAMOSYS mastered the art of providing precise fuel monitoring capacitive sensors and systems. Our sensors are manufactured (contract manufacturing) in Russia. Earlier we used to provide Ultrasonic sensors, but due to poor demand, we stopped providing ultrasonic sensors. Also, earlier we used to provide cheaper Chinese capacitive sensors but now we generally don’t recommend them unless the customer explicitly demands it. We always hold a good number in stocks for Russian capacitive sensors say in 1000s. And tiny quantity in Chinese sensors.

Our fuel sensors and software were used across the globe. We are the No1 in Fuel Monitoring Sensors and Software providers in India. We aspire to become No1 across the world. We are not No1 without reasons!. Our sensors & software are world standard, best quality. We have a pan Indian network to dealers and service personnel to provide installation and calibration support. We provide the best prices for both dealers and customers.
